Dolmen Mall, which is part of Dolmen City, is one of Pakistan’s largest architectural projects to date standing tall as a wind sail on the shores of the Arabian Sea. The conglomerate project was designed on a nautical theme and all the elements point to the image of the sea and the ships, both within and on the external frontage. Dolmen mall has a massive atrium that is lit by natural sunlight that gleams through the glass roof. It has three levels of retail space coveted by top international brands. On the top level is a food court and a children’s play area while the lower level contains a mega supermarket. There is ample parking on two levels in the basement.
Dolmen Mall lives up to the global trends that require malls to adapt to the role they play in people’s lives. No longer are they principally about the retail value of the experience. Now, when consumers visit malls, they are looking for experiences that go well beyond traditional shopping. The growing middle classes in Pakistan maintain a strong association between consumption and pleasure, driving the need for more engaging shopping experiences.
