When the Adamjee Insurance Company came to Arshad Shahid Abdulla (ASA) for designing their Head Office building in Lahore, on an exceptionally narrow and deep plot, it was taken as a challenge and a novel opportunity by ASA. The building comprises eleven stories with parking facilities provided in 4 basements. The 1st to 8th floor houses the offices while executives are located on the top floor. With an industrial look on the outside, warm tones and light material palette is used for the interiors. Floating meeting rooms and bridges are used as a design feature to uplift the office design and its creative ambience. The spatial division is achieved by the change of flooring and sculptural planters rather than walls. Interior is brought to life by splashes of accent color.
